To configure device with the Android OS to connect to POP/IMAP mailbox:
1. Choose the default mail application from the list of applications.
2. Type in the email address and password of your POP/IMAP mailbox.
3. Click Manual Setup.
4. On the next screen, choose POP or IMAP.
Important: We strongly recommend to use the IMAP protocol instead of POP protocol as POP protocol is considered to be outdated and can cause the performance issues for your mailbox.
5. Type in incoming (IMAP/POP) the server settings:
Username: Email address
Password: Mailbox password
Incoming Server: mail.ENTERYOURDOMAINHERE.co.za
IMAP Port: 993 POP3 Port: 995
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.
Security Type: SSL (Accept All Certificates)
6. Click Next.
7. Type in the outgoing (SMTP) server settings:
Username: Email address
Password: Mailbox password
Outgoing Server: mail.ENTERYOURDOMAINHERE.co.za
SMTP Port: 465
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.
Security Type: SSL (Accept All Certificates)
8. Click Next.
9. Configure additional settings.
10. On the next screen, specify the Account Name and Display Name.
11. Click Done.
